Marian Pastor Roces is a cultural critic and independent curator whose research interests include cities, museums, identity politics, international contemporary art events, and 19th century expositions. She is presently undertaking a doctoral thesis on the accelerated urbanization of Perth, Western Australia, relating identity politics to conflicting concepts of space.
