Kuroda Raiji is an art historian and curator. After receiving an MA from The University of Tokyo, Raiji began working at the Fukuoda Art Museum as a curator in 1985 and was promoted to chief curator in 2003. He specializes in postwar Japanese avant-garde art.
Curated exhibitions include Kyushu-ha (1988), Neo-Dada (1993), Lee Bul (2001) and Lionel Wendt (2003).
