Justo Pastor Mellado

Justo Pastor Mellado is an art critic, and independent curator. He lives and works in Santiago de Chile. He studied philosophy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and at the Université de Provence, France. His research focuses on the problems of contemporary Latin American art. He is member of the Publishing Committee of Documents of 20th Century Latin American and Latino Art: A Digital Archive and Publications Project, located at the International Center for the Arts of the Americas at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas. He is Associate Curator of the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende (Santiago de Chile). He is Academic Director of the School of Visual Arts & Photography at the UNIACC (Universidad UNIACC, La Universidad de las Comunicaciones, Santiago de Chile). He is press correspondent for Exit Express.
